The act

Formed in 2010, out of Houston, TX, Khruangbin has been touring behind a strengthening catalog into a live act with national reach.

Khruangbin is a Houston trio of bassist Laura Lee Ochoa, guitarist Mark Speer, and drummer Donald "DJ" Johnson Jr. who pull from Thai funk, surf rock, dub, and Iranian psych. Their 2018 album Con Todo el Mundo broke them into the festival circuit. Fourth album A LA SALA arrived on Dead Oceans in April 2024.
