Trampled by Turtles formed in Duluth, Minnesota in 2003 around frontman Dave Simonett. The five-piece works a fast, electric-bluegrass register; their 2010 album Palomino debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart. Tenth album Alpenglow arrived in 2022 with production from Jeff Tweedy.
