The Richmond, VA-formed metal has been touring since 1984. GWAR formed in Richmond, Virginia in 1984 as a costumed shock-rock collective built around the conceit that its members are interplanetary barbarians stranded on Earth.

The Jefferson Theater is a 750-capacity room at 110 East Main Street in Charlottesville, VA. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10:00 a.m. ET via the venue. Doors 7:00 p.m.; show 8:00 p.m.
